Specifications & Details for the 6.8w Pro GU1O LED Spotlight

6.8w Pro GU1O LED Spotlight

The well-lit PRO GU1O spotlight has been designed to provide market leading quality of light (CRI 97+) and a choice of dim to warm technology (2200k - 2700k) or 2700k and 3000k colour temperatures.

For most domestic homes the most appropriate choice would be a 38 degree beam angle, which is similar to a halogen spotlight.

Dim to Warm - At full power the colour temperature is 2700k, similar to a standard halogen or incandescent lamp. But as you gradually dim down the colour temperature gets warmer, all the way down to 2200k. This is how halogen lamps used to behave.

2700k - A similar quality light to an incandescent lamp.

3000k - If you require a brighter whiter light.

The trimless lens design means this GU10 will fit into the vast majority of existing fittings on the market.

Perfect for both residential and commercial applications, this is the only LED GU10 that comes with a 5 year warranty.

If LED lamps are so great, why is there so much terrible LED lighting? Are dull colours just the price you pay for lower bills?

The answer to these questions is 'Colour Rendering Index'. In most LED lamps it's simply too low. At Well-lit, all our LED lamps have CRI values of 93 or above. So you can replace your halogen and incandescent lamps without losing quality of light. (And change those poor quality LEDs for something rather better.)
